Mango lassi with saffron & orange blossom
During the holy month of Ramadan, my family and I always look forward to breaking our fast with a refreshing and nutritious mango lassi smoothie. This delicious drink is a staple in our household, as it not only helps to rehydrate us after a long day of fasting but also provides a boost of much-needed energy.
The beauty of the mango lassi smoothie lies in its simplicity and ease of preparation. We simply blend together frozen mango chunks, yogurt, milk, and a touch of saffron and orange blossom until smooth and creamy. The coldness of the frozen fruit ensures that the smoothie is always refreshing, making it the perfect drink to enjoy during Ramadan.
Whether we're enjoying it to break our fast or as a quick and satisfying suhoor meal before beginning our fast, the mango lassi smoothie never fails to disappoint. Its sweet and tangy flavor always leaves us feeling refreshed and nourished, ready to take on the day ahead.
So next time you find yourself in need of a delicious and nutritious drink during Ramadan, give the mango lassi smoothie a try. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. Cheers to a happy and healthy Ramadan!
